Have questions about the Bodysex Retreat?
What if I have my period?
No problem. Someone has their period at almost every workshop. You can use a tampon, a menstrual cup, or a piece of natural sea sponge. Some women even choose to free bleed onto a towel. Bleeding is a natural part of being a woman. There is no shame in it.
What if I have a yeast, bladder, or other infection?
No problem. Just use an over-the-counter or other treatment before attending. Every participant has their own supplies and equipment, so you will not be sharing.
What if I can’t orgasm?
If you can, great; if you can’t, that’s ok too. Orgasm is NOT the goal. We’re here to heal body shame and overcome sexual guilt while experiencing true sisterhood. There’s no agenda, no judgment or expectations.
What shall I bring?
A robe, and some warm socks in case your feet tend to get cold.
Will there be breaks and snacks?
You are welcome to get up and go to the bathroom as you please. I will provide fruit infused water and tea, light snacks, including fruit and cheese.
Your privacy:
What happens in the circle, stays in the circle. Sharing your own story and experience with others outside of the circle is fine.
Cell phones:
Can be a distraction. We want participants to be present and fully immersed during the workshop. Please keep your cell phone silent or turned off. Store your cell phone and any other device connected to the internet (such as a smart watch) in your bag outside of the circle.
Pleasure is the high of Bodysex:
To keep our experience clear and connected. I ask that no alcohol, cannabis, or other mood/mind-altering substances be used during the workshop. After hours, you’re welcome to enjoy a drink and unwind.
Photos:
Photos are not permitted during the workshop.
